Wow. Did he wear a foil helmet when he stepped under the the party brainwashing machine?
Oh joy indeed! Can we have more like him please?
I never expected to hear sense from one of this lot - mirabili dictu! Is there yet some hope for politics?
And the latest on wind farms; spectacularly inefficient and environmentally harmful.
He almost renewed my faith in politicians...almost I said!
Hey Dick - can I share him? Maybe all free thinking blogs should adopt him - that would give a mesage to the righteous wouldn't it? As I am technologically challenged, you would have to be a team member to post him up on my blog as a mascot...What d' ya think?
Verbum Sapienti Sat!
Others will follow only if they see a swing in public opinion occuring.Which I believe it is.
Not sure if I agree with his basic contention or not. On my blog, I offer comment, satire and sheer invective on many subjects, but I steer clear on those things I know bugger-all about.Would that politicans would follow my lead.On this particular subject, the air is filled with conflicting facts / lies / guesses, being batted around from one side of the net to the other. Who the hell knows what the truth is. All sides claim they have a lien on the truth. All sides are probably liars.
# Voted very strongly against introducing a smoking ban. # Voted very strongly against introducing ID cards.# Voted moderately against Labour's anti-terrorism laws. # Voted very strongly for an investigation into the Iraq war. # Voted very strongly for replacing Trident.# Voted against equal gay rights. # Voted moderately against laws to stop climate change. What a breath of fresh (not 'smokefree') air !!!
Lenko: "All sides claim they have a lien on the truth. All sides are probably liars."Can't disagree with any of your comment. More reason for politicians not to rush headlong into legislation when it seems it is only motivated by blind belief in still disputed 'proof'.
There is an interesting blog on ASI that suggests the if Cameron and the rest of the Conservatives take a similar stance on climate change as the mascot it would be an election winner. If you think about it is obvious. The number one concern at the moment to the electorate is the economy they don't give jack shit about anything else. They are worried about debt there's and the government's. The Climate brigade if they get there way want to spend another 400 billion on greening up the place, that is an extra burden they just don't want.
